Marketing Coordinator

We are currently seeking a dynamic person to join our internal marketing department.  The Marketing Coordinator  will report to the Marketing Director and be responsible for marketing several residential master-planned communities. This role is responsible for executing and measuring the results of a wide variety of strategic marketing initiatives as it relates to home sales and community branding. Daily responsibilities include coordinating print, direct mail, and billboard advertisements; Realtor relations, event coordination, implementing promotions, overseeing marketing collateral, and organizing all community marketing initiatives. This role has a heavy emphasis on improving digital effectiveness and experience with social media ads, SEO, SEM, websites, display ads, video, eblasts, and other digital channels is preferred.  The career path for this position includes future opportunities to lead marketing projects for a variety of commercial and residential real estate developments.


Strategic & Marketing Planning

  • Establish marketing goals and initiate marketing plan with direction from the development team
  • Measure the success of marketing programs quarterly against defined goals, adjusting as needed

Marketing Implementation

  • Monitor and oversee implementation of marketing initiatives with outside service providers such agencies, designers, sign companies and mail houses
  • Contribute to design of marketing programs such as web, newsletter, direct mail, advertising, flyers, referral programs and signage
  • Selectively write copy and edit work produced by others
  • Oversee and ensure integrity of community brand
  • Coordinate advertisement placement, monitoring various editorial calendars
  • Be aware of marketplace and identify unique opportunities to position the community’s achievements

 Budgeting and Expense Control

  • Help determine marketing budgets and monitor monthly expenses
  • Seek the most cost effective and creative ways to reach target markets
  • Invoicing - code marketing invoices, maintain records and follow up with vendors
  • Support database management for all marketing projects

Event Coordination

  • Coordinate onsite realtor events
  • Plan public marketing events to build awareness
  • Assist with resident events, as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, PR, Communications or related field
  • Two+ years experience in a marketing position.  Residential or homebuilding experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage details efficiently
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
  • Adobe Photoshop and Indesign a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and frequent deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter
