Can you believe Twitter is 6 years old today?  It seems like Twitter was launched just yesterday, causing Facebook to change some of their status update features to ensure they wouldn’t become obsolete.  Social media is stronger than ever, and today Twitter boasts over 500 million users. 

While Facebook is still the social media leader, Twitter has spread news faster than any other sites and is the go to site to find out what is going on.  All you have to do is look at the trending topics of Twitter to see what is going on around the world.   

While they’re still a private company, Twitter is growing and it may go public soon.  Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure; Twitter’s not going anywhere!
