Caldwell Companies announced today the addition of a new residential canal section to Towne Lake, its northwest Houston community connected by water. The Waterway at Towne Lake will feature more than 100 homes on 50- foot home sites, most with direct access to a canal system that feeds into the main water body of Towne Lake.
Caldwell Companies has partnered with two distinguished Texas-based homebuilders for The Waterway at Towne Lake. Recently named 2012 People’s Choice Builder of the Year (Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas), Highland Homes is known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Princeton Classic Homes, a division of Legend Classic Homes of Houston, has a quality track record for building move-in ready homes and offering homebuyers an efficient process with its in-house team of architects, designers, and mortgage and title companies.
“The Waterway at Towne Lake offers residents a distinctive lifestyle with incomparable amenities. There truly is nothing like it in Houston,” said Peter Barnhart, development partner of Caldwell Companies. “Residents can enjoy the privacy and efficiency of living on a canal system with a private boat slip behind their home, allowing for direct boating access to the lake, amenities center, amphitheater and boardwalk area.”
Earlier this year, Caldwell announced details on The Boardwalk on Towne Lake – a mixed-use development featuring a unique collection of waterfront restaurants, retail, and office space, centered around a large lakeside green area. The Waterway at Towne Lake will be located across the cove from The Boardwalk, directly adjacent to the future amenities center, allowing boaters immediate connection to the lake and other areas of the community.
“Our goal is to create extraordinary communities that enrich lives,” said Fred Caldwell, president and chief executive officer of Caldwell Companies. “We’ve focused on building a true community in every sense of the word. At Towne Lake, we invite our residents to establish relationships with one another at community events and through interaction with the amenities we offer.”
Caldwell Companies will break ground on The Waterway at Towne Lake in late 2012, with plans for the first residents to move into their homes during the summer of 2013. The Waterway will feature similar design elements currently found throughout Towne Lake, including natural stone, waterfalls, bridges, distinctive landscaping and Caldwell’s signature Hill Country charm.
