Caldwell Companies was recently named as a "Best Places to Work" company for 2013 by The Houston Business Journal (HBJ). Over 100 companies were honored during the award luncheon held at the Hilton Americas Hotel.
“It's always an honor to be named as an outstanding place to work by HBJ, especially since the award is based on our team member's feedback,” said Fred Caldwell, President and CEO of Caldwell Companies. "Our company is synonymous with 'Doing it Right. Right now.' and that's as true for our associates as it is our customers. Creating a culture of family and community is important to our business."
HBJ celebrates annually the companies that not only are top performers in their industries, but that truly value their talented employees. It was a very competitive year for the awards and companies had a high standard to meet to make the cut for the list. Firms must have scored at least an 85 in its employee surveys to be named a finalist. The rankings are based on the scores from a month-long employee engagement audit and survey conducted by a third-party expert, Quantum Workplace.
The Houston Business Journal has been recognizing companies as "Best Places to Work" for 13 years with the goal to highlight companies that place an emphasis in areas such as goals and leadership, communication and support, advancement opportunity and skill development, recognition and compensation, tolerance and flexibility and embracing innovation and ideas.
