Job Description

The Coworking General Manager for The Work Well will be directly responsible for sales, day to day operations and management of our coworking business. This role reports directly to senior management. Responsibilities of the position include leasing office suites and co-working space, member recruiting and lead generation. The manager will also plan member events to foster a great sense of community and oversee marketing and social media. Additionally, the manager will play a key role to develop and execute the expansion plan to scale up our coworking business. The Coworking General Manager role requires sales experience, business management acumen, profit and loss responsibility and the ability to maintain client satisfaction. The candidate should exhibit proficiency in communicating effectively both in writing and verbally, utilizing Microsoft Office applications, and creatively solving problems. Given the adaptability and flexibility required by the position, an individual with a positive attitude, strong initiative, and a willingness to learn is well suited for success and enjoyment as the Coworking General Manager for The Work Well.

 

Goals and Objectives: 

  • Manage an extraordinary Coworking Community;
  • Drive revenue growth from recurring memberships and nonrecurring services through membership growth and sales strategies while maintaining expenses and creating efficiencies that maximize performance;
  • Drive awareness of and membership in The Work Well;
  • Develop partnerships that add value to our members 
  • Oversee and support the Community team in providing the extraordinary workplace for our members and guests 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales process from lead generation and tracking to touring, negotiating and closing new members;
  • Monitor revenue, expenses and related financial activities to ensure: revenue growth, expenses are well managed and net income is maximized and growing;
  • Coordinate marketing efforts and social media;
  • Maximize occupancy through outstanding customer service and sales techniques;
  • Local involvement in business community and networking events;
  • Prepare weekly sales report to track ongoing and projected revenue and occupancy through sales progress;
  • Oversee and execute daily office operations;
  • Develop an amazing professional relationship with members, staff and external partners;
  • Lead community team with oversite and council to managers;
  • Assist in growth plans to expand The Work Well to new locations;
  • Coordinate engaging member events;
  • Maintain an extraordinary sense of community;
  • Facilitate member relationships and help them grow their business.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in coworking, hospitality, retail, or related fields
  • Experience successfully leading and managing a team 
  • Coworking management experience a plus
  • Strong and proven business acumen with P&L management
  • Outgoing and naturally good at engaging with people
  • Results focused and highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & Salesforce a plus
