The Senior Vice President – Residential Development & Master Planned Communities will lead and oversee our residential development projects, focusing on master-planned communities. This role requires a visionary leader with a passion for creating highly amenitized, state-of-the-art communities that align with our commitment to creating extraordinary communities that enrich lives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies for residential development projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of highly amenitized master-planned communities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial projections, and profitability of residential projects, ensuring strong financial performance and return on investment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, government agencies, and community members.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to drive informed decision-making.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, and industry best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency, sustainability, and overall community satisfaction.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in real estate, urban planning, business, or a related field; MBA, MRE, or MLPD preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years in residential development, with a proven track record of leading large-scale master-planned communities. Experience with MUDs and other reimbursement structures is a plus.
