The Vice President of Digital Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that increases brand awareness, drives high-quality leads, and improves engagement across all digital channels. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the VP of Digital Marketing will lead our 3rd party digital agencies and collaborate closely with our technical partners to ensure cohesive and effective digital campaigns. This role combines digital marketing strategy with a working knowledge of web development, CRM functionality, and API integrations. We are seeking a visionary leader and expert in brand marketing with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, a passion for emerging AI technology, and a proven track record of digital results in the real estate industry.
Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement a robust digital marketing strategy that aligns with Caldwell Companies' business goals and enhances brand visibility online.
- Lead efforts in SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion. Oversee and optimize multi-platform campaigns, including Google Ads, social media Ads, and HubSpot, to maximize ROI.
- Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and incorporate innovative techniques and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Brand Management
- Strengthen the company’s reputation as the premier real estate developer in Houston and increase brand awareness through strategic digital campaigns.
- Oversee all digital messaging to ensure consistency & best digital practices across all communities' paid and organic online initiatives.
Campaign Management and Optimization:
- Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive measurable results.
- Utilize data analytics to track campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Manage relationships with digital agencies, vendors, and technology partners to ensure effective campaign delivery.
Website and Content Management:
- Oversee the development and management of Caldwell Companies' websites, ensuring they are optimized for user experience, SEO, and lead generation.
- Drive content strategy, including the creation of high-quality, engaging content that supports marketing objectives.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all digital platforms.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage AI tools and advanced analytics to understand customer journeys and enhance targeted marketing approaches.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze campaign metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement, identify growth opportunities, and optimize marketing spend.
- Implement A/B testing and other methodologies to continuously improve digital marketing effectiveness.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Manage and direct CRM integrations, including HubSpot, to align customer data flows with our marketing automation strategy. Guide API integrations between CRM, marketing, and other software programs to streamline data exchange and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with sales, development, lifestyle, and other departments to support their goals through targeted digital marketing efforts.
- Act as a digital marketing thought leader within the company, sharing insights and best practices across the organization. Stay informed on industry trends, digital technologies, and best practices in both marketing and technical integration to ensure we remain competitive and innovative.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the real estate industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and CRM systems like HubSpot.
- Strong knowledge of SEO/SEM, social media marketing, content strategy, email marketing, and web analytics.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, social media management tools).
- Working knowledge of website hosting, general web development principles, and API integrations between CRM and other marketing tools.
- Data-driven mindset with a strong ability to analyze and interpret data, derive actionable insights, and guide strategic adjustments.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to bridge digital strategy with technical implementation.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience directing third-party digital and technical teams.
