Chris Lane brings over 20 years of experience to Caldwell Companies as our assistant controller for investments. In this role, Chris manages the accounting and financial functions for Caldwell Homes as well as other ancillary new business ventures. Chris graduated from Sam Houston State University and has worked in industries such as Transportation, Fuel Distribution, Construction and Agriculture. Chris was also the President of a family owned Container Grown and Tissue Culture Nursery for four and a half years where he was the first non-family member to hold the President position of a 30 year old company.

Outside of work, Chris is involved with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Committee Volunteer, President of the Magnolia West High School Booster Club, and member of the Magnolia ISD Livestock Committee. Aside from work and his affiliations, Chris enjoys traveling with his wife, hunting and fishing and spending time with his two sons who are both active in the FFA and raise animals each year.
