“I want our customers to taste our goodies and remember the good times in their life.” That’s Melinda Bodukoglu’s philosophy. And as owners of the Land of a Thousand Hills coffee shop in Cypress, she and husband Gary have found it’s working out wonderfully.

“We enjoy the fact that we get to serve and take care of our neighbors,” she says.

And she means ‘neighbors’ in the most literal sense. That’s because the Bodukoglus are not 
only residents of Towne Lake, their coffee shop and bakery also calls The Boardwalk at Towne Lake home.

“While building our house in Towne Lake, were so excited to see what Caldwell had planned for The Boardwalk,” Melinda remembers. “It turned out even better than we imagined.”

Since then, Caldwell has become an integral part of Mrs. Bodukoglu’s business.

“For us, Caldwell is a ‘one stop shop’. From negotiating the lease, to the complete build out of our space, to now being a very helpful and accommodating landlord…[working with Caldwell] is a great experience.”

No doubt about it, The Bodukoglus are the embodiment of Caldwell’s vision of a vibrant live/work/play community.

“We are a team,” Melinda says of her relationship with Caldwell. “I love the fact that the Caldwell family are one of our regular customers. They truly care.”
